HOW WILL WE COLLECT YOUR DNA TEST SAMPLE?
Your DNA test sample will be collected using non-invasive buccal swabs. A buccal (pronounced "buckle") swab is the painless removal of a sample of cells from the inside of your mouth (cheek).
Our AABB-trained sample collectors will gently swab the inside of both of your cheeks with a cotton swab to collect cells for DNA testing. This type of DNA sample collection will not cause any pain and will feel like a soft brush on the side of your cheek. There are no risks with this DNA test and it takes less than five minutes to complete.
