SIBLINGSHIP DNA TEST.
WHAT IS A SIBLING DNA TEST?
A sibling DNA test can determine whether two or more individuals are full- or half-siblings. This DNA test is used any time individuals suspect that they may share one or both parents and need proof for peace of mind or for legal reasons. Example reasons for getting a sibling DNA test include:
adopted individuals who find each other and do not have other proof that they are siblings;
children of sperm or egg donors who locate one another and think they might have the same father or mother; or
any two individuals who want to be sure if they are full siblings or half-siblings for whatever reason.
